Eight discarded paperbacks were recycled into a single volume. Their pages were removed, folded in half lengthwise (resulting in vertically oriented text), and sewn into signatures. Fragments of the removed covers were cut into geometric shapes and inlaid into the volume’s case. Tracing paper and blank pages provided the material for the binding, simulating traditional vellum.
